California woman killed in I-15 crash

Jennifer McIntosh,27, of Bishop, California died Monday of injuries sustained in a crash on Interstate 15 milepost 178, near Spencer.

Idaho State Police said McIntosh was driving northbound in a 1999 Ford pickup when she steered onto the right shoulder, then over-corrected. The pickup drove across the highway and into the median, where it rolled.

McIntosh and her juvenile passenger were both wearing seatbelts.

ISP said the driver died at the scene of the crash. Her passenger was transported by ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

The crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police and the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
