Safety first when trick or treating

Halloween is Monday and the Idaho Falls Police want to remind parents and trick or treaters to have fun but to also be safe.

Idaho Falls Patrol Captain Royce Clements said, “Things like crossing the street, make sure you are looking both ways and make sure you are using crosswalks. Also don’t dart out between cars to catch up with friends.”

Clements added to avoid using toy weapons as part of costumes and to stay with your children at all times.
