Three people injured in I-15 crash

Three people were hospitalized after a one-vehicle, rollover crash on Interstate 15 at approximately 4:08 a.m. Monday.

Idaho State Police said a 2006 Nissan pickup driven by Eric Brumbaugh Rodriguez, 21, of San Angelo, Texas, was northbound at milepost 109, near Shelley.

Brumbaugh Rodriguez lost control on icy roads and the pickup went off the left shoulder into the median and rolled.

Passenger Morgan Rupp, 22, of West Valley, Utah was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. Brumbaugh Rodriguez and another passenger, identified as Victoria Atkinson,19, of Placerville, California were wearing seat belts.

All three were transported by ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

One northbound lane of the interstate was blocked for about 4 hours while the crash was investigated.
