Pocatello woman charged for stabbing her brother

A Pocatello woman is being held on charges of aggravated battery after a disturbance in the 500 block of West Fremont at 12:49 p.m. Wednesday.

Pocatello Police said Tonya Dee Brown, 50, got into a fight with her brother and his girlfriend. During the fight, they said Brown stabbed her brother with a knife.

Brown’s brother was transported to Portneuf Medical Center for treatment. He was listed in stable condition Thursday.

Brown was being held in the Bannock County jail as investigation continued.
