More scattered snow showers set in for early Saturday and Sunday. A COLD blast of air arrives next week, with clearing, cold conditions. Saturday, A 30 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 30°. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Best chance for snow will be up around Island Park and along the Montana Divide. Sunday, A 70 percent chance of snow. Strong southwesterly winds with a cloudy sky and a high near 40°. Wintry mix quickly changing to all snow for the Snake River Plain later in the afternoon as temps plummet behind the cold front. Several inches of snow can be expected into the mountains.
