Idaho Falls Zoo Hosting 16th Annual Winter Classes

The Idaho Falls Zoo will host its 16th annual Winter Break Classes this month.

The event scheduled for Dec. 20 through 22nd and is for ages 5 to 13.

Kids will learn about the science of snow, explore the world of animals that live in cold weather, among other things.

“The classes are a great opportunity for kids to see what happens at the zoo after we closethe doors for the winter,” Education Curator, Sunny Katseanes said.

There are also programs for ages 2 to 4, with an accompanying adult. This is part of the monthly program, Zoo Tots. The program will explore a variety of educational topics each month through reading, crafts, songs and fun.
