Detailed Forecast for Dec. 12, 2016

Leftover moisture from the big storm we had over the weekend still keeping us cloudy and bringing in some light snow showers. Overall a quieter start to the week with the driest days being Tuesday into early Wednesday before our next significant winter storm arrives.

Monday, mostly cloudy skies with scattered snow showers and breezy conditions. Totals will be small with maybe 2 inches in the higher elevations and most likely a trace in the valleys. Highs in the 20’s and low 30’s. Chance of snow 50%.

Tonight, light snow showers are possible especially into the high country with mostly cloudy skies and lows into the 10’s and 20’s.

Tuesday, a bit of a lull between storms. Count on partly to mostly cloudy skies with just a few snow flurries in the high country. Highs in the 20’s and low 30’s.

Wednesday, starting out somewhat clear with increasing clouds in the afternoon as a storm moves in from the south. Count on on-and-off snow showers with a few valley locations switching over to rain overnight as relatively warm air moves in. Highs in the 20’s and 30’s.
