Evening Weather Forecast December 26

What started out cloudy turned into a beautiful afternoon. I hope you enjoyed it as we have another storm coming in.

Tonight, mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows in the single digits and a lot of places dipping below 0.

Tuesday, starting out partly cloudy with snow showers in the central mountains. Snowfall will spread across the rest of the region by the afternoon. Increasing winds means evening travel could be difficult in some places, best times would be in the morning, or to wait until Wednesday afternoon. Highs will top out in the 20’s.

Wednesday, a few morning snow showers for everyone, with just a few lingering by the afternoon near the WY/ID state line. Winds will start out blustery, but they should also die down by the afternoon. Highs on the chilly side, topping out in the teens and low-20’s.

Thursday, a nice winter day. Highs in the teens and 20’s with partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. A good skiing, snowmobiling, sledding kind of day.
