A weak high pressure system is setting up for Thursday, with cold air and patchy freezing fog. Our next storm moves in Friday evening. Scattered snow showers will be with us through the New Year’s holiday. Tonight, partly cloudy skies with lows near 0°. Winds becoming light and variable. Thursday, a nice winter day. Highs in the teens and 20’s with partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. A good skiing, snowmobiling, or sledding kind of day. Friday, milky sunshine with some higher clouds returning but overall fairly dry. Highs topping out into the 20’s and low 30’s. Friday evening, scattered snow showers with a 30% chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 10° Saturday, mostly cloudy with scattered snow, most of the snow will hit the higher elevations.
