After some overnight and morning fog for Friday morning, we’ll look for scattered snow showers to take hold for Friday afternoon and evening. More scattered snow will arrive for Sunday and Monday, before dangerous cold frigid air moves in for the middle of next week. Tonight, mostly clear with some patchy freezing fog forming again in certain areas. Lows will be from 0 to 10 degrees. A bit of a breeze kicking up in a few of the mountain valleys, southwesterly winds from 5-15mph. Friday, Partly to mostly cloudy with afternoon scattered snow showers. A 50 percent chance of snow. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. Highs topping out into the 20’s and low 30’s. Friday evening, scattered snow showers with a 40% chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 10° Saturday, mostly cloudy with a few light snow showers. Most of the snow will hit the higher elevations. Highs into the 20’s. Sunday, A 50% chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 20°. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible. Monday, A 50% chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 15°.
