The fire department says no one was home when the fire started and the homeowner came home to find the fire and called 911.

Fire crews arrived to find flames coming from the front room window. Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the fire and searched the home to make sure no one was inside.

The front room was heavily damaged, with the rest of the home having smoke damage.
