Two arrested for burglary at State Liquor Store

Two men have been arrested for burglary at the State Liquor Store after one was stopped by customers in the parking lot. The other man was arrested at a later time.

According to police reports, 19‐year‐old Nikolaus Garcia and 25‐year‐old Paul A. Ramirez, Jr were arrested for burglary after they stole from the State Liquor Store on Friday.

Officers responded to the State Liquor Store at First Street and Lee Avenue for a report of a theft Friday. Garcia, Ramirez and another male entered the store and stole five bottles of alcohol. Ramirez was detained by customers in the parking lot. Garcia fled on foot, but was later located behind a trailer in the 200 block of Gladstone.

Garcia was also arrested for two warrants and resisting arrest. The third male also fled and police are still searching for him.
