Idaho Falls to hold meeting on short-term rentals this month

The city of Idaho Falls wants to hear from people who rent out their homes using services such as VRBO and AirBnB. An open house to take public input is scheduled from 4-7p.m on Jan. 25th at the Idaho Falls Public Library, 457 W. Broadway.

According to a news release from the city, a short-term rental is defined as “a property owner rents out their property or a part of their property such as a bedroom to a guest for a period, less than 30 days.”

The city has posted a survey to collect thoughts or questions about short-term rentals within the city limits. Click here for the link. Responses will be collected until Feb. 1st.
