Idaho Falls man charged with sexual battery

Idaho Falls Police arrested Martin Cervantes-Orozco on a warrant for sexual battery of a minor 16 or 17 years of age. Police began their investigation last November when a 16-year-old Idaho Falls girl said Cervantes-Orozco had sent her inappropriate Facebook messages. Because of the girl’s age and the fact the pictures were sexually explicit, the actions fit the legal definition of sexual battery. Cervantes-Orozco was arrested Friday night at his residence in the 800 block of Park Avenue.
