Evening Forecast for Feb. 5

What started out as cloudy and wet turned into a fairly pleasant afternoon. Count on above average temperatures to continue, with an occasional chilly day or two.

Tonight, increasing clouds with a few rain/snow showers. Lows across the region will be in the 20’s and 30’s, meaning folks in the lower elevations won’t get below freezing. Count on breezy winds around 10-20 mph out of the SW.

Monday, mostly cloudy skies with rain and snow showers for most of the day, or at least until the late afternoon hours. Daytime highs will still be above average in the 30’s and 40’s. Southwesterly winds will be gusty at times, ranging from 15-30 mph occasionally stronger.

Tuesday, mostly cloudy skies with few snow showers. This is our cold day for the week as most daytime highs will stay below freezing. Winds will temporarily be out of the north, ranging from 10-25 mph.

Wednesday, partly cloudy skies with a few scattered rain/snow showers. Southwesterly winds will pick back up again bringing above average temperatures. Daytime highs will be range from the low 30’s to the low 40’s.
