Fight leads to aggravated assault charges for Idaho Falls man

Idaho Falls Police arrested Matthew Blatter, 40, of Idaho Falls for aggravated assault after a Monday night fight. Police were called to the 2300 block of Stace Street at around 5:24 p.m. Monday. According to reports, a 24-year-old man told police Blatter showed up at his home and refused to leave when asked. Police said the two men got into an argument and Blatter struck the victim with his hand. Later, they said Blatter tried to strike the victim with his vehicle. Blatter was booked for misdemeanor battery and driving without privileges.
