Bannock County closes Wallin Road because of flooding

There are a few areas for people in Bannock County to avoid because of flooding problems.

According to the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office, the county road department closed down Wallin Road on Friday because of too much water on the road. Wallin Road is in Chubbuck between Philbin and Rio Vista roads.

Constitution Park is also blocked off. The parking lot is flooded and there are dirt piles blocking the entrance.

The dirt piles are also to help keep the water from spilling onto the main roadway.

The Pocatello Stree Department said as of Friday, it was doing pretty well and had no road closures within city limits.
