Reports of bomb at Ft. Hall casino unfounded
UPDATE 9:47 p.m.: The Bingham County Sheriff’s Office says a bomb threat called into the Sage Hill Casino was unfounded. Crews are working to determine who was responsible for making the call.
ORIGINAL STORY: The Bingham County Sheriff’s Office tells KIFI/KIDK the Sage Hill Casino just off I-15 in Blackfoot has been evacuated after a bomb threat.
Sheriff Craig Rowland said the threat was called in around 6 p.m. Sunday and crews are currently at the casino investigating.
Residents are being advised to stay away from the area as the casino is an “active crime scene.”
