FBI looks to hire ISU graduates

(KIFI/KIDK) Idaho State University held its spring career fair on Wednesday. Among those in attendance, were hospitals, pest control companies and even the FBI.

“We have a lot of ISU grads that work here, locally and we would like to hire more,” Troy Wortley of the FBI said.

The FBI said they have had good luck hiring ISU students in the past.

“I went through the interview process with them, interviewed with them, went through the security clearance and they were willing to give me a job, I have been there ever since. It’s been fantastic,” said ISU alumnus and member of the FBI, Kevin Capener.

Not only were there lots of students at the event, but many of them stopped by the FBI booth.

“Well to be like J ames Bond, but it turns out the FBI does not do that I found out,” said ISU student, Matthew Chaffin.

While working for the FBI might not be like a James Bond movie, it could still be a good company to work for.

“The quality of life is fantastic, they care for their employees, so it is something I would heartily recommend,” commented Capener.

The FBI said they are looking for ISU graduates with a bachelors degree and at least a 3.0 GPA.
