UPDATE: Bannock County Driver’s License office reopens
Update 2/16/2017 9:30 am: The Bannock County Driver’s License office is open for business again. The office reopened Thursday morning after they were able to install the new router they had been waiting for.
Update: The Bannock County Driver’s License office will not reopen Wednesday as originally planned. The delivery of the new router required to get the office running again was delayed. Office management hopes to open sometime Thursday morning.
Original Story: The Bannock County Driver’s License office will be closed until 2 p.m. Wednesday because of technical issues.
In an alert sent by the Bannock County Sheriff’s office Tuesday, it was announced that the router tasked with connecting the Bannock County office to the Boise main office had failed. A new router is being overnighted to the office but it will Wednesday afternoon at least before licenses can be issued again.
The sheriff’s office will send another alert after the router is repaired and the driver’s license office is able to function again.
