Weekend Forecast for FEB 18th and 19th 2017

A series of Pacific storms set to plow into the west, with rain and high elevation snow showers. This storm system will keep temperatures mild for this time of year. Expect scattered showers all weekend long and into the approaching work week. A WINTER STORM WARNING has been issued for Custer, Clark, Fremont and Teton Idaho counties until Sunday evening. Heavy snow accumulations above 6500 ft will create difficult travel conditions, especially across mountain passes. Snow will begin Friday evening becoming heavy by Saturday morning and continuing through Sunday.

Saturday, A 60 percent chance of rain and mountain snow. Cloudy, with a high near 48°.

Sunday, mostly cloudy, and rain likely. A high near 40° in the Snake River Plain. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Monday, Scattered rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 40°. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
