Winds will calm a bit heading into Wednesday. Colder air returns for the middle and end of the week and with moisture hanging around that means light snow accumulations are possible for even the Snake River Plain. Tonight, some partial clearing as things try to dry out for a brief period. Winds will subside and temps expected to drop to the 20’s and low 30’s. Chance of snow 30%. Wednesday, a few lingering showers with slightly cooler temps. Daytime highs will be in the 30’s with a few spots bumping into the 40’s. Snow levels will also drop, but we don’t expect any decent snow totals outside the mountains. Thursday, A 50% chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 30°. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Friday, Mostly cloudy with a 40% chance of snow. Highs in the Snake River Plain around the upper 20’s. Saturday and Sunday, somewhat drier with only a 20% chance at new snow. Mostly cloudy, with highs into the lower 30’s.
