Idaho Falls man arrested for second-degree kidnapping

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an Idaho Falls for second-degree kidnapping after witnesses reported the man fighting with his girlfriend in a parking lot Monday afternoon.

Taylor D. Johnson was arrested Monday for felony second-degree kidnapping, misdemeanor domestic battery, and failure to purchase a driver’s license. He was booked into Bonneville County Jail.

According to the report, deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at the Ammon Wal-Mart parking lot Monday at about 1:15 p.m. When they arrived the deputies found Johnson and his girlfriend. After investigating deputies found that Johnson had a physical altercation with his girlfriend. The girlfriend told deputies that Johnson would not let her leave the vehicle.

The female victim received minor injuries.
