Models are now coming into agreement for a fairly decent snowstorm setting up across Southern Idaho for Thursday and Friday. Counties near the Utah border could easily pick up 4-8+ inches of fresh snow. Lighter amounts further north. Wednesday, a mix of sun and clouds with a few lingering showers and slightly cooler temps. Daytime highs will be in the 30’s with a few spots bumping into the 40’s. Chance of precip 40%. Tonight, cloudy skies with breezy winds from the southwest at 10-20mph. Snow showers with heavy snow possible across the Southern Highlands. Snowfall accumulations from 1-4″. Thursday, A 80% chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 30°. New snow accumulation 1-3″. Friday, Mostly cloudy with a 60% chance of snow showers. Highs in the Snake River Plain around the upper 20’s. Saturday and Sunday, somewhat drier with only a 20% chance at new snow. Sun and clouds mixed, with highs into the lower 30’s.
