Website sells tickets for local shows at highly inflated prices

A warning for those looking at buying tickets online for local productions. The Idaho Falls Opera Theatre notified Local News 8 that it become aware of websites selling tickets to its production this week of Carmina Burana for $150 to $323.

“The scary part is we don’t want people to be ripped-off,” Rob Farnam of the Idaho Falls Opera Theatre said. “And also, we had people who looked at these and decided they couldn’t go to the show because it was too expensive, so we wanted to get the word out to the community about this.”

To get tickets online to many productions in Idaho Falls, including the Idaho Falls Opera Theatre, you can go to the trusted Idaho Falls Arts Council Website at idahofallsarts.org.
