Pocatello police arrest two on drug delivery charges

Pocatello Police arrested Christine Ann Evans, 37, for possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver. According to police reports, Evans was pulled over at 2nd and Fredragill Streets at around 8:16 a.m. Thursday for texting and driving. While pulling her over on the traffic stop, officers said Evans did not immediately stop and was seen making movements like she was attempting to hide something. Once she was pulled over, police immediately arrested her passenger. Celestino Raymond, 33, was wanted on outstanding warrants. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver after police discovered he was carrying a meth pipe.
A narcotic detection dog was called in. Police immediately located 2.9 grams of methamphetamine in the car and an additional 22.5 grams of meth and 1.6 grams of heroin in Evans’ possession.
