Idaho Falls man arrested for injuring a child’s hand

An Idaho Falls man has been arrested for felony injury to a child following an incident where he injured a 15-year-old boy’s hand.

Idaho Falls Police arrested 32-year-old Enoch P. Hoverson for felony injury to a child Monday and booked him into Bonneville County Jail.

According to reports, officers responded to a report of child abuse in the 1600 block of Riviera Drive on Feb. 21. The reporting party told police of an incident where Holverson became angry and grabbed a 15‐ year‐old boy’s hand causing injury to it. The boy’s injury was treated by a doctor.

During their investigation, police also learned of another abuse incident involving a 13‐year‐old girl and a domestic battery incident with a 36‐year‐old woman. Holverson was cited for misdemeanor injury to a child and misdemeanor domestic battery with a child present for those incidences.
