New York man arrested for stealing personal information

Pocatello Police arrested Percy Lee Barber, 24, of Bronx, New York after he tried to purchase iPhones with fraudulent information. Barber was formally charged with misappropriation of personal identifying information. According to reports, police were called to the Sprint store at 576 Yellowstone at around 2:35 p.m. Monday. When detectives contacted Barber, he ran away. The man was quickly apprehended. Police later confirmed that Barber had also been in the Sprint store in Blackfoot. They said he was using a different name to try to obtain merchandise there.
