Plato named Pocatello wrestling coach

J.B. Plato was announced as the new Pocatello head wrestling coach, replacing Todd Praska.

Praska, who coached the Indians for 20 years, felt that the time was right for him and his assistant coach, Tadd Roubidoux, to step down. The perfect ending was having senior Hunter Roubidoux, Tadd’s son, win a state title.

Praska’s son Tyler was also named an assistant coach for the Indians.

Plato was an assistant coach under Praska for 12 years. Before joining Pocatello’s staff, he wrestled at North Idaho College in Coeur d’Alene.
