Blue Angels reschedule Idaho Falls press conference

Correction: 3-3-17

The U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels describe their arrival in Idaho Falls Friday as a “winter visit” in preparation for their air show this summer.

Technically, officials said a “flyover” requires Department of Defense approval and the assent of an Admiral.

ORIGINAL STORY:

On Friday the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will fly over Idaho Falls as part of a press conference the team will be holding in preparation for the Idaho Falls Air Show in July this year.

Friday’s flyover and press conference is a rescheduling of the originally planned press conference and flyover that had to be canceled in January because of the weather.

The press conference will be held at Aeromark near the Idaho Falls Regional Airport at 12:30 p.m. Friday. The team will then flyover the City later that afternoon.
