I.F. man arrested after 911 hang-up

Idaho Falls Police arrested Juan G. Feliciano,35, for aggravated battery and attempted strangulation Thursday night. According to reports, dispatchers had a 911 call from a woman at around 10:05 p.m. The woman hung up on the call. Police officers located a woman near Capital and B Street who had several injuries to her face. She was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center for treatment. She told police she had been attacked by Feliciano and that he had tried to strangle her. According to reports, the woman grabbed a knife and stabbed Feliciano in an effort to get away from him. She said she called 911, but he grabbed the phone and broke it. Police also learned Feliciano had violated a no contact order. Police found Feliciano at EIRMC, where he was being treated for a stab wound. Police said Feliciano was creating a disturbance at the hospital and was asked multiple times to be quiet and stop using profanity.
