Two-car crash in Idaho Falls
The Idaho Falls Police Department responded to a car crash involving two cars around noon, Saturday.
Police said a white SUV was headed west on Sunnyside Rd and was turning onto Yellowstone Hwy. A smaller, tan car was headed east on Sunnyside and hit the SUV.
Several people were transported to the hospital with injuries, police said. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
A nurse witnessed the accident and provided aid until paramedics arrived.
The crash is being investigated. Idaho Falls PD has handed the investigation to Idaho State Police because the accident happened on a state highway.
