Erickson named CEO of Bingham Memorial Hospital

Jake Erickson has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot. Erickson currently serves as chief operating officer (COO) at BMH, Inc. He will take over the post on October 1, 2017. Erickson’s selection came after the Bingham Memorial Board of Directors met with local and national consultants. Board Chairman Joe Cannon said, “We met with many people, including administrators of several hospitals in the region, local and national professionals, and many of our physician partners. It became evident that our administrative team, especially Jake, had earned the respect from the medical community in Eastern Idaho.” Cannon added that Erickson has roots in eastern Idaho and is well-known and respected across the region. Erickson holds a Master of Business Administration and has been with Bingham Memorial for the past 11 years. He succeeds interim CEO Jeff Daniels, who will retire November 17, 2017. “Jeff will leave an indelible mark on Bingham Memorial Hospital,” said Joe Cannon, Chairman of the BMH Board of Directors. “He has maintained an unwavering commitment to our patients and employees, and we are indebted to him for his innumerable professional contributions and for his outstanding personal character. We congratulate him on his retirement and wish him and his family well.”
