Boise State falls to Illinois in NIT

The Boise State basketball team lost to Illinois 71-56 Monday night in the second round of the National Invitation Tournament, ending the Broncos season.

Chandler Hutchinson lead the Broncos with 17 points. Boise State lead 48-46 halfway through the second half, but the Fighting Illini went on a 12-2 run to seal the victory.

Boise State finises the season with a 20-12 record, their fifth straight 20-win season.
