Christopher Tapp gets win with Judge’s order

Christopher Tapp got a victory Thursday when a judge denied a motion to dismiss his post-conviction relief hearing.

That means Tapp’s petition to prove he was forced to admit guilty by investigators can go on.

Tapp confessed to Idaho Police officers that he killed Angie Dodge. Dodge was found murdered in June 1996 in Idaho Falls.

Tapp is asking for a retrial based on the fact his confession was coerced. Prosecutors wanted this dismissed and the judge no.
