Idaho Falls woman arrested for embezzling from her former employer

Idaho Falls Police have arrested a woman for embezzling thousands of dollars from her former employer.

48-year-old Dorie L. Roice was arrested on a warrant for grand theft on Tuesday and was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

According to reports, Roice embezzled $5,800 from the Chelsea Court Apartments, her former employer, between September 2015 and October 2016. The theft was reported to police in December.

Roice had stolen rent and laundry money from the business.
