Jakers comes back to Pocatello

Jakers Bar and Grill is now open in Pocatello. The restaurant officially opened its doors on Thursday afternoon.

Jakers took the place of Ruby Tuesday, who closed its doors in December due to lack of business.

The remodel of the building took just under four months. Jakers offers anything from steaks to burgers to salads.

The Pocatello location seats approximately 180 people.

Josh Chappell, the general manager, said the staff is excited to be back in Pocatello.

“You know, this is where Jakers started,” Chappell said. “Jakers first restaurant was here 42 years ago. It was right off of Yellowstone and we just figured it was time to come back.”

The restaurant is open for dinner from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. More details about Jakers can be found on its website.
