American Falls names new school Superintendent

Middle School principal Randy Jensen has been named Superintendent of Schools for the American Falls School District. Chairman Bruce Hauber says the American Falls school board made the decision in a special board meeting Friday. The selection follows a nearly three-month search. He was selected from a field of three finalists who met with district patrons last Tuesday. Jensen is the current principal of William Thomas Middle School. He has been with the district since 1985 and has served as a teacher, coach, and principal. He is a graduate of Idaho State University with B.A., Masters, and Educational Specialists Degrees. Jensen will officially take over the position in July, replacing current Superintendent Dr. Ron Bollinger. Bollinger is retiring after 22 years as superintendent.
