Pocatello woman arrested after leading police on chase through Blackfoot

A Pocatello woman is behind bars tonight after she led police on a chase through Blackfoot.

Idaho State Police said troopers attempted to stop Daloh Small for false registration. ISP Trooper Spencer Knudsen said that the registration for the Dodge pickup she was driving did not come back to her. That’s when she fled.

According to ISP, the chase ended near the intersection of Ferry Butte and Riverton Roads. ISP says the chase started on U.S. Hwy 91 and ended on Ferry Butte after police performed a PIT maneuver.

ISP said that Small’s boyfriend and a baby did get out of the car before she took off. Police are not sure at this point whether or not the baby belongs to her. But police did say the baby is okay.

Knudsen said police are unsure why Small fled. ISP and Fort Hall police are continuing to investigate.

Small is being held at the Bingham County jail. She faces charges of felony eluding, felony injury to a child, two felony warrants, one misdemeanor warrant and driving without privileges.
