Two airlifted from Jefferson County crash

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says alcohol may have been a factor in a rollover crash that sent two people to the hospital.

Timothy Kostal, 52, was driving his Ford F150 north on 3950 East and 350 North when he lost control and left the road. The sheriff’s office says Kostal overcorrected causing his truck to roll. Kostal and his passenger, Gary Thompson, 64, were both ejected from the vehicle. Neither were wearing seatbelts.

The two men were taken by Air Idaho and Life flight to EIRMC.

The crash remains under investigation.
