A Strong cold front is moving in, look out for gusty winds, some heavy rain, thunderstorms and snow! Wrap around moisture and northerly flow will keep us unsettled as we go into your Thursday and Friday before things clear up a bit this weekend! Tonight, dropping temps means a lot of us will see rain changing over to snow. Light accumulations of less than an inch possible for the Snake River Plain with 2-5 inches expected into the mountain valleys especially across Western Wyoming and 4-8 inches up into the mountains. Chance of rain and snow 80%. Thursday overcast with an 80% chance of snow and wintry mix. Highs into the 30’s and 40’s. Snow accumulations less than an inch for the Snake River Plain, but 2-5″ for the mountain valleys and over 6″ for the mountains. Friday, A chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with highs into the mid 40’s. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Saturday, A slight chance of rain and snow showers after 7am. Partly sunny, with a high near 55°. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
