Commission names magistrate judge candidates
The 7th Judicial District Magistrate Commission has identified four finalists to replace retiring Clark County Magistrate Judge Penny J. Stanford. The commission will interview each candidate separately beginning at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 12. The interview sessions will be open to the public. The sessions will begin with Steve Wetzel at 9:50 a.m., Susan Clark at 10:30 a.m., Steve Boyce at 11:20 a.m. and Kent Gauchay at 12:00 p.m. Judge Stanford will retire June 30, 2017, and her replacement will take office on July 1, 2017. The interviews will be conducted at the Clark County Courthouse at 224 West Main Street, in Dubois, Idaho.
