New downtown I.F fire station holds open house Monday

The Idaho Falls Fire Department will hold an open house on Monday, May 1st at 1:00 for the new downtown fire station. The ceremony will last 30 minutes before tours begin at 1:30 and go until 4 p.m.

The downtown Idaho Falls fire station is at 343 E. Street.

Performers at Monday’s ceremony include: The Skyline High School Jazz Combo, Idaho Falls Fire Department (IFFD) Color Guard, and Pipes and Drums. Daughter of IFFD Driver Nick Stallings, Savannah Presley Stallings will be singing the national anthem.

Light refreshments from downtown restaurants will be provided at the event.
