Two seriously injured in rollover crash that may have involved alcohol

Two people were seriously injured early Friday morning after a rollover crash on Bone Road that may have involved alcohol use.

Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputies responded at about 6:15 am to a crash on Bone Road near 9th South. When deputies arrived they found a 2015 Ford Mustang that had lost control on a curve and went off the road rolling multiple time. A 32-year-old female was found ejected from the vehicle and the driver, a 29-year-old man, was still in the car. Both victims were taken by ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

Sheriff’s deputies say high speed was a factor in the crash. They also found signs of alcohol use. The crash is still under investigation and that the names of the victims have not been released at this time.
