Detailed Forecast for May 9, 2017

Fantastic spring weather for the next few days as high pressure builds in. A few isolated thunderstorms near the Wyoming border today but dry and warm will be the trend for the rest of the week. FLOOD WARNINGS and FLOOD WATCHES remain in effect for several of our area waterways especially across Central Idaho due to the rapid snowmelt from the mountains. Continue to monitor the situation if you live near a river or stream. Tuesday, a bit drier with partly cloudy skies and a few pop-up showers and thunderstorms. Highs topping out into the low 70’s. Chance of rain 30%. Tonight, mostly clear and cool with lows dropping into the 30’s and 40’s. Wednesday and Thursday are looking drier with few clouds. Temps on the rise as well with highs near 80°.
