Horses named ‘Salt’ and ‘Boots’ found safe in Wyoming

A couple of horses that had escaped from their electric-fence enclosure last week in Wyoming have been found safe.

The Jackson Hole News and Guide reports the two gelding horses named “Salt” and “Boots” had been found Saturday by a man searching for horns.

They had gone missing May 14 from the Teton County Fairgrounds. Shyla Nicholas, the owner of the horses, had been in town for a barrel race.

Nicholas had alerted the public about the missing horses online, providing her cellphone number in case the runaways were seen. She had been searching manure trails and resident tips for days before her and her two geldings were able to go home in peace Sunday.
