BYU-I enrollment up over 2 percent

Brigham Young University-Idaho is reporting total spring semester enrollment of 14,934 students, an increase of 2.1 percent over last spring. In addition, 4,384 campus-based students are taking online courts to fulfill internships away from campus. The student body consists of 7,416 male students (49.7 percent) and 7,518 females (50.3 percent). There are 3,787 married students, comprising 25.4 percent of the total campus population. 57.7 percent are returned missionaries. Online course enrollment continues to grow. BYU-Idaho is serving more students off-campus than are on-campus. The number of online students, including BYU-Pathway Worldwide for Spring Semester 2017 is 19,026, an increase of 10.9 percent over a year ago.
