After record winter, START launches summer schedule

Jackson-based START bus service will begin its summer schedule Saturday and continue through Sunday, September 24. In addition to free in-town shuttle service, START will also offer a special service every Thursday for the Victor, Idaho “Music on Main” program. The shuttle will offer a reduced $5 fare to Victor and free shuttle back to Jackson. 18 bus runs will be offered each day between Jackson and Teton Village to help reduce traffic on Wyoming Highway 22 and the Moose/Wilson Road through the summer. Both the Star Valley and Teton Valley commuter routes will consolidate into one line each for the Memorial Day Holiday on Monday, May 29. START transported more passengers last winter than in any other season in its history. START said ridership increased by over 20,000 riders over the winter.
