Body of Kelley Haney recovered from Snake River

Bingham County Sheriff’s Office says the body of Kelley Haney was recovered from the Snake River about 6 miles south of Rose Pond at about 1 p.m. Monday.

Bingham County Sheriff Craig T. Rowland says an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday to determine the cause of death.

The Bingham County Sheriff’s Office thanks the public for their help in the search for Kelley and thanked all the volunteers who have come out to search for her since she was reported missing on May 11.

The sheriff’s office says there will be no additional details released on the investigation until after the autopsy that is scheduled for Tuesday.

Local News 8 and KIDK 3 Eyewitness News is working to get additional details and is attempting to contact Haney’s family.
