Grand Teton park, foundation mark 20-year partnership
Over the last 20 years, the Grand Teton National Park Foundation has raised more than $65 million for Grand Teton National Park in northwest Wyoming.
The foundation was created in 1997 as the primary fundraising partner for the park.
The projects and initiatives it has funded have aimed to improve visitor services, preserve park resources and provide outreach to a variety of people that the park attracts.
Grand Teton National Park Foundation President Leslie Mattson tells the Jackson Hole News & Guide the foundation’s next priorities include the cultural preservation of the Mormon Row area and improving public access to the Snake River.
Grand Teton welcomes nearly 5 million visitors a year.
